The organization has raised about $120,000 in about two weeks.
The United Boys and Girls Club of Santa Barbara is about half-way there to reach their goal.

SANTA BARBARA, CA (Catholic Online) - The organization has raised an estimated $120,000 in just two weeks. The goal is to raise $300,000 in 60 days.

Money is greatly needed due to donations dropping over the past couple years, and the enrollment of kids is skyrocketing. According to the Boys and Girls Club, the money raised so far is only the beginning.

Credit is given to Deckers and Network Hardware Resale and their employees for giving large donations.

"We're not done and we're still out there with the community. Every single day we get a new outpouring of family and friends. I even had an individual just this weekend that's unemployed that actually wrote a $200 check," said Michael Rattray, CEO of the United Boys and Girls Clubs of Santa Barbara County. "I mean, it's just awesome the way the community is coming together and supporting us."
