The books are compatible with Kindles, Nooks, iPads, iPhones, and most other e-reading devices. The books will be available 24-7, so no need to wait for the library to open. SANTA BARBARA, CA (Catholic Online) - The library now boasts more than 5,000 e-books in its collection ranging across all ages and topics. The books can be checked out at any time, for free.
Hundreds of new titles are due to be added as well as additional copies of in-demand titles.
The e-books have been made available thanks to donations from "Friends of the Library" and other private donors.
To use the service, users need a Santa Barbara Public Library System card and may click here to get started.
And the best part? No more library fines for lost or forgotten books.
