The Granada Tower.
Santa Barbara may get a few new landmarks following today's city council meeting. The council is set to vote on recognizing the Granada Tower State Street Facade, the Moreton Bay Fig Tree, and the Fredrick H. Booth House.

SANTA BARBARA, CA (Catholic Online) - The Historical landmarks Commission has approved the three sites and all three are considered an important part of the city's heritage.

Both the Booth House and the Granada Tower Street Façade are considered important architectural designs while the Fig Tree is a widely recognized neighborhood landmark.

The Fredrick H. Booth House is particularly notable because it retains many of its original features, and reflects the hacienda-style of construction. It was built in 1939 and is sits on a 14.4 acre parcel of land.
